About Jose
My methodology as a tutor is to insist on the use of French from the beginning, avoiding the student's native tongue; plus carefully listening to pronunciation and teaching him or her pronunciation exercises. I place emphasis on speaking and writing because they are the most important aspects of language production.

I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English, with a minor in Modern Languages. My educational experience with French dates back to my later elementary school years when I was enrolled in a French-Spanish school. I continued studies throughout high school and college. Afterward I went on to live and work in France. I still maintain contacts there and keep up with French current events plus the changes in language usage.
