Methodology
My name Is Jean-Christophe Barré, I have been teaching French as a second language for more than 15 years at all levels of instruction in different institutions in France and in the USA.
I am currently a adjunct French Instructor a South Portland Community College.
I excel at designing innovative courses or specific training program for individuals or small groups. My focus is to develop students' skills to meet academic demands or specific goals. I strive to bring the best environment in the classroom to achieve success and make the experience of learning enjoyable.

I have been teaching French for more than 15 years. I am a seasoned and effective French instructor.
I have taught thousand students at all level of instruction. I have developed and refined curriculum and strategies to help students in learning French from middle school level to College level. As a result, and my former students can attest, I excel at:

I hold a Master in French Linguistics and Literature and a BA in Teaching French as a second language.
Among my extensive experience, I have taught and managed for the last three years a French Training program for compagnies ( AEC, Safran ) to help employees in using French effectively in a professional environment. My students ranged from General Manager level to engineering, quality and procurement staff.This 3-year French training has been very successful.
