About Oniesha

I am a dedicated French tutor with a genuine passion for teaching and helping learners unlock their potential. For me, language learning goes beyond grammar and vocabulary, it’s about opening doors to new cultures, opportunities, and ways of thinking. That’s what inspired me to teach French and share my love for the language with others.

I am DELF-certified and have experience working with students of different levels and backgrounds, from complete beginners to learners preparing for exams such as the TEF. I understand that every student learns differently, so my teaching approach is personalized, practical, and confidence-building. My lessons are structured yet engaging, making learning both effective and enjoyable.

I take great pride in seeing my students progress—whether it’s saying their first sentences in French or achieving important academic or professional goals. Teaching is more than just a job for me; it’s a way to make a positive impact. I aim to create a welcoming, supportive, and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and encouraged at every step of their French learning journey.

About the lesson

I bring years of experience as a French tutor, helping students of all levels achieve their language goals. Growing up in a bilingual household and tutoring French professionally has given me a strong understanding of both the language and the challenges learners face. My background includes assisting beginners in building a solid foundation, supporting high school students in excelling at exams, and guiding adults through advanced skills like conversation and TEF preparation.

My teaching methodology focuses on making French practical, interactive, and enjoyable. Lessons include a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises tailored to each student’s goals and interests. I use role-playing, multimedia resources, and real-life scenarios to ensure students can confidently apply what they learn.

Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, providing enough time to balance learning grammar, expanding vocabulary, and practicing communication. I also offer detailed feedback to help students track their progress and stay motivated.
