About Emily

I graduated in 2023 with a degree in International Relations with a minor in the French language. I have passed the DELF myself with a high grade in the B2 category. I have lived in France and Belgium for two years and speak fluently. I have been giving lessons for about five years now. I love learning and teaching languages!

About the lesson

Learning via immersion. We will speak French in the lesson and use a variety of mediums like books, movies and news articles. We can also look at vocabulary and grammar. I think that working with a variety of methods works better than just one textbook at school, and giving you the chance to speak one on one is much more beneficial! Perfect! Emily is an excellent tutor and her teaching style is perfect for anyone wanting to learn French! When I started getting lessons I was at a beginners level, but with Emily's hands on approach to learning, including developing conversational techniques and engaging in media such as music, videos, games and movies I was able to reach the goals we established for myself when beginning. I couldn't recommend Emily highly enough to anyone wanting to learn a new language in a fun, enjoyable and unique way.
