About Corinne

I am a French national. I was born near Paris and grew up there. I attended La Sorbonne University in Paris and graduated in English, French and Spanish. I proceeded to take my teaching degree after I graduated. I have been living in England for 26 years and have been teaching French since I moved here. I love teaching and take great satisfaction and pride out of seeing my students improve and achieve excellent results. I am married with three children. My other passions are music - I am the lead singer in a local music group - yoga, travelling and reading - in French of course!

About the lesson

I believe in a personalised approach to learning. We all learn at our own pace and I believe in assessing learners on their individual ability to learn a language before devising a learning plan. For GCSE students, I believe it is important to adapt lessons so as to work within the student’s school’s framework, hence complementing and increasing the learning to achieve progress. All four skills will be assessed during the first lesson in order to find the learner’s weaknesses and strengths and the future lesson plans will be tailored accordingly.
