About Mary
I am a third year Medical Student in Sheffield, and I have a strong background in languages: I am bilingual French-English, speak fluent Spanish, and have a beginner/intermediate level of German.
I have been giving private tutoring lessons since 2013, and have helped young people aged 8 to 15 to work on their English, French, and Spanish language skills, as well as maths, biology, physics, history and geography.

I give lessons to all ages, although my previous experience is limited to school-aged individuals. A lesson will typically last 45min - 1h, once a week.
The structure of the lesson may vary depending on your needs and I am very adaptable depending on what you want to focus on, but generally would contain learning new vocabulary and reviewing work done the previous week, followed by oral expression and comprehension practice, written expression and comprehension practice, and a summary of the day's lesson.
I am happy to build lessons together with you, so we can figure out what your goals are - whether it be consolidating knowledge of grammar or practising oral fluency and accent!
