About Juliette

I am a French graduated student, with A-Level in french modern language and french literature. I graduated in 2019 from university and have a BA in English literature, language, and art & film. French is my mother tongue but I speak English at a high level as well thanks to my BA, and I have been living in England since 2019. I am now a master student in London. I dearly love both la gauge, French and English, and I studied them both at a high level. I love languages and learning new languages, I started learning Japanese during lockdown and I have been studying Spanish for 6 years now.

About the lesson

I have been tutoring a couple of pupil back in France alongside my studies (BA in English language and literature and cinema) because I really like helping understanding things better or learning new things, and teaching is something I really enjoy doing. The method I always find myself using is making the student feel safe and confident, that mistakes are ok and that we learn by trying and understanding where we went wrong and that we are on the right part. I am patient and understanding and I believe that step by step we can work on the subject until the student feel confident enough and understood and assimilated the new informations. I think that a mix of good vocabulary, oral expression, and syntax and good grammar is the key to learn French. I know this language may seems daunting and complicated with rules, exceptions, and the articles “le” “la” “un” “une” can scare people off, but with a good methodology and a nice teacher I’ am sure that you will be able to reach a good level of French !
