About Kwaku

Bonjour! My name is Kwaku, and I'm originally from Toulouse in the south of France.

In 2016, I moved to England with limited English and had to build a new life from scratch. Like many language learners, I experienced the frustration of understanding some words but not feeling confident enough to speak.

Within a few months, I became comfortable communicating in English and eventually had the opportunity to teach French in a secondary school. That experience showed me how rewarding language learning can be and inspired me to help others achieve the same confidence.

To further develop my teaching skills, I trained and became certified through CAVILAM – Alliance Française, one of the leading institutions in French language teaching.

Today, I teach students from around the world and focus on helping them speak French naturally, confidently, and without fear of making mistakes.

I look forward to helping you on your French journey.

About the lesson

Bonjour!

My lessons are designed to help you speak French with confidence in a supportive and relaxed environment.

During our first lesson, we'll discuss your goals, assess your current level, and identify the areas that need the most attention. Whether you're learning French for travel, work, school, relocation, or personal interest, the lessons will be tailored to your specific needs.

Together, we'll focus on the key skills needed to communicate effectively:

• Speaking
• Listening
• Vocabulary
• Pronunciation
• Reading and writing (when relevant)

My goal is not just to teach French but to help you feel comfortable using it in real-life situations.

At the end of each lesson, you'll receive a summary of what we've covered along with guidance on what to focus on next.

I look forward to helping you achieve your French goals.

Kwaku has been a wonderful tutor to my 3 year old son since last year. He is kind, patient and as a native speaker extremely knowledgeable.
