About Kim

Hi! I’m Kim, a French native speaker currently living in the UAE

Languages, education and discovering new cultures have always been a big part of my life. I’ve had the opportunity to live in France, South Korea, Hungary, Ireland and now the UAE, experiences that have allowed me to meet people from many different backgrounds and experience different languages and cultures firsthand.

French is my native language, and I have also studied English and German. Having learned languages myself and lived in several international environments, I know how rewarding — but sometimes challenging — it can be to communicate in a language that isn’t your own.

I’ve also always enjoyed helping others learn, particularly through supporting my younger brothers and sisters with their schoolwork. I’m naturally patient, curious and open-minded, and I enjoy finding simple and engaging ways to explain things.

For me, learning a language is about much more than grammar and vocabulary. It’s about gaining confidence, connecting with people and feeling comfortable in everyday situations.

I’d love to share my passion for languages and learning with my students!

About the lesson

My lessons are personalised to each student’s level, age and goals.

Whether you are a complete beginner, want to improve your French for school, or simply want to feel more comfortable speaking French, we can adapt the lessons to what you need.

Depending on your objectives, lessons can include:
• Conversation and pronunciation
• Vocabulary and everyday French
• Grammar and sentence structure
• Reading and writing
• Homework and school support
• French culture and real-life situations

For children, I like to make lessons interactive and engaging, using age-appropriate activities, conversations and exercises rather than relying only on traditional methods.

For adults, we can focus on practical French and conversation, with topics adapted to your interests and everyday life in the UAE.

Before our first lesson, we can discuss your level and goals so I can prepare a lesson that is relevant to you.

My goal is to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you can practice, make mistakes and gradually gain confidence in French.
