About Roxane

I'm a 25 year old French woman who spent years studying French Literature and Language. More than being a Native Speaker, I'm passionate about the language itself, about writing and reading, and I would love nothing more than to share my knowledge with you.
I specialized in Letters in High School, and I graduated from a Bachelor Degree in French Literature and Language from La Sorbonne, in Paris.
I spent 2 and a half year in Los Angeles, where I graduated from a Certificate in Film from UCLA.

About the lesson

I teach French by introducing you to French Culture: movies, music, literature, history...

Basically: Learn how to read by working on some famous French modern writers, learn how to understand the language by listening to songs, become familiar with pronunciation and dialogues by watching parts of movies/shows...
Tell me what you like and I will find contents that will be appealing to you, so you can learn WHILE having fun! I will come up with lessons that will fit the content we'll work on - grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, history...

To make sure you get familiar with the language, lessons will be in French! (Although we can start slow, don't worry!)

Whether you're a beginner, just want to improve your pronunciation, or are curious about French culture, I will adapt the lessons depending on you and YOUR needs!

Perfect! Roxane m’a aidé avec mon français, surtout concernant la conversation, le vocabulaire et un peu de grammaire. Elle était très communicative et avait écouté à mes besoins. J’ai passé quelques bonnes leçons avec elle quand j’étais à Paris !
