About Romane

I'm Romane, a final-year Bachelor's student at NEOMA Business School, currently completing a dual degree with Carleton University in Ottawa. Alongside my studies, I've spent the past few years working in luxury hospitality and concierge services, roles that taught me far more about communication, patience, and adapting to people than any classroom ever could.
I've worked with brands like Ikos Odisia (where my team was ranked #1 e-concierge across the entire Ikos Group), Vranken Pommery, Casi di Mare, and Superhost Services, and I hold an Inside LVMH certification. These experiences shaped the way I teach: in luxury service, there's no such thing as a "standard" client, every person has different needs, a different pace, and a different way of understanding things. I bring that same mindset to tutoring.

When I teach French, I'm not just running through grammar rules, I'm paying attention to how each student learns best, where their confidence dips, and what actually clicks for them. My goal is always the same: make progress feel real and achievable, not overwhelming.

Outside of tutoring and my studies, I'm curious, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoy helping people feel more confident, whether that's a hotel guest, a client, or a student sitting down to write their first dissertation.
