About Jonah
Hi! I'm Jonah, a Mechanical Engineering student at Northwestern University, and I grew up in Paris, France. I graduated with the highest honors from the French Baccalaureate and have 4 years of tutoring experience, helping students aged 8 to 16 excel in French and other subjects.

Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced student seeking to perfect your fluency, I can help! My approach is supportive, friendly, and focused on building your confidence in French. I always bring a positive, can-do attitude to every session.
I like to prepare a lesson plan, but adapt it depending on how the student is doing that day. I have also found that every student learns differently, so have become very good at adapting my teaching methods.
I believe the best way to learn is for yourself rather than have answers handed to you, so I really let my students work things out for themselves by guiding them only as much as necessary.
