About Isabella

My name is Ella, and I'm currently studying Human Health and French at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia! Growing up, I had the privilege of living in France for multiple years, and I fell in love with the language and the culture. Eventually, I hope to work in public health and travel the world. Outside of school, I enjoy playing soccer, reading, hiking, and exploring Atlanta's many restaurants and coffee shops.

About the lesson

Bonjour! My approach to French tutoring is personalized and focused on building confidence. I adapt each lesson to your level, goals, and learning style, combining conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and real-life French.

A typical lesson includes a quick review, a focused topic or skill, and plenty of practice. We’ll finish by reviewing what you’ve learned and identifying areas to work on.

What sets me apart is my focus on making French feel approachable and enjoyable. I encourage students to speak from the start and learn through their mistakes without feeling pressured. My goal is not only to help you improve your French, but also to make you feel comfortable and confident using it. I welcome students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners.
