About Mckynlea
I started out like many of you with no knowledge of this language. I understand intimately the difficulties and struggles that can arise whilst learning a foreign language and feel prepared to help you overcome them. I currently teach a college level Italian class and have experience tutoring many different age groups. I know I can help you achieve your language goals!

My lessons are dynamic. I try to make them as fun as possible so you remember more of what we cover. I incorporate culture into my lessons to familiarize you with the context of the language. I also like to add music in wherever I can. A typical lesson would involve an "I do, we do , you do" structure where I present a topic (grammar, literature, writing samples, etc), we work on it together and then you try it by yourself. I tailor my lessons to meet the needs of my students learning styles and pay particular attention to the latest information in second language acquisition.
