About Kimberly

Pronunciation and grammatical precision are the areas I naturally gravitate toward when helping others speak. To be honest, I find that language learning is rarely a linear path for anyone.

With 13 years of experience, I have developed a deep appreciation for the nuance of liaison and nasal sounds. I have taught 176 students how to navigate the complexities of French. It is rewarding to see learners master verb conjugation and reading comprehension.

I really enjoy the process of breaking down cultural context for my students. Working with exam prep candidates and conversation seekers is how I spend most of my professional hours.

About the lesson

Can you imagine yourself ordering a coffee in Paris with complete confidence and ease? Students aiming for DELF or IELTS certification often reach this state through our focus on role play and dialogue practice. My Artist Diploma from The Juilliard School instilled in me a disciplined way of teaching that I now apply to French linguistics. I cater to intermediate learners who need that extra push to reach fluency.

We spend time on listening practice and travel French to make the language feel alive. You will receive free access to my vocabulary and grammar notes to bolster your study efforts. I focus on making the difficult sounds accessible.

It is genuinely fun to watch a student finally grasp a tricky concept. Learning should be an engaging process.
