About Alexandra
Teaching French across the US for 10 years means I see children grasp ACCENT AND INTONATION before they master grammar. After 10 years of classroom work, I built a system that gets adults from beginner to conversational in 1 year, and to B2 exam-ready in 2. My MA in French Studies from Yale University anchors my approach to VOCABULARY BUILDING, writing skills, and idioms and expressions.
I truly enjoy guiding students through role play and dialogue practice. It is a joy to see my students gain confidence in listening practice and interview preparation.

Many students struggle because they lack consistent daily exposure to the sounds of the language. 8 minutes of practice every single day produces more results than 1 hour of cramming once a week.
My method relies on recorded pronunciation drills for daily practice to bridge that gap. I leverage my 10 years of experience to keep the material rigorous yet accessible.
These drills form the backbone of how we tackle complex sounds and rhythms. You will find that these small, frequent inputs build a foundation that lasts. My goal is to make every minute count for your growth. I look forward to starting this journey with you soon.
