About Naomi

My fascination with French began with its musicality and elegance. Over eight years of teaching, I’ve found joy in helping students discover the same beauty and depth within the language. For me, teaching French is not just about grammar—it’s about helping people connect with a living culture and communicate authentically. I approach each lesson with enthusiasm, adaptability, and care. My teaching philosophy values progress over perfection; I believe that learning should feel both challenging and uplifting. I design activities that bring the language to life, whether through songs, films, or practical conversation practice. Every student’s journey is unique, and I tailor lessons to match their learning rhythm and personal interests. Outside of teaching, I engage with French literature, cinema, and international workshops to stay immersed in the culture I share. Watching students progress from hesitant beginners to confident speakers is endlessly rewarding. Teaching French allows me to combine communication, creativity, and culture into one fulfilling path that continues to inspire both my students and me.

About the lesson

My French lessons invite students to explore both the language and the vibrant culture that surrounds it. Every session combines structured learning with creative practice—grammar and vocabulary come alive through conversation, film, music, and real-life scenarios. I create an engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, curiosity, and genuine connection to the language.

Beginners focus on essential phrases, pronunciation, and grammar fundamentals. Intermediate learners develop fluency through dialogues, listening activities, and written composition, while advanced students refine idiomatic use, essay writing, and oral presentations. Lessons often include short cultural segments on French art, cuisine, and customs to deepen comprehension and appreciation.

The goal of my French lessons is to make communication natural and joyful. Students build not only linguistic skills but also confidence in cross-cultural expression. Many have used their French successfully for travel, study abroad, or career opportunities. Ultimately, these lessons help learners experience the world with more curiosity, empathy, and a richer global perspective.
