About the lesson

About Me & My Teaching Approach

I offer engaging, personalized French tutoring and sport coaching (soccer, tennis, and fitness) designed to help students build confidence, skill, and real-world ability. My teaching style is practical, interactive, and student-focused, adapting each lesson to the learner’s goals—whether conversational French, exam preparation, technique improvement, or overall fitness.
In French, I emphasize conversation, clear grammar explanations, cultural insight, and real-life application. For coaching, I combine technical instruction with positive reinforcement, game understanding, and structured skill progression.

Lesson length:

French tutoring: 30–60 minutes
Soccer/Tennis coaching: 30–90 minutes
Personal training: 45–60 minutes
Sessions available online (Zoom) or in person in Bendigo.

Qualifications & Experience

Fluent French speaker – lived in France for 5 years (ages 8–13)
Band 6 HSC French
French tutor at the University of Colorado
Former University of Colorado student-athlete (soccer)
Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology
Currently completing a Master of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University (Bendigo)
Certified Personal Trainer
Experienced soccer and tennis coach with competitive junior background

This blend of language immersion, academic training, and athletic coaching allows me to bring a highly holistic and motivating approach to every lesson.
