About Orresta
I have studied French for over ten years, travelling to the nearby cities of Montreal and Quebec City on numerous occasions. I tend to use my real-world examples of traveling and speaking with natives as examples in my classes. I have been tutoring for about two years now, with students ranging from elementary school to adults seeking to rekindle their love of French culture. I enjoy tutoring French because I want to share my love of travel and culture with those who may find it daunting to learn a whole new language.

I studied French during my time in university. My favorite group of students to teach is elementary students, or those who are new to the language, because one of my biggest opinions is that the right teacher, from an early age, can inspire a student for years to come. During my first sessions, I like to get an idea of what the student wants to achieve- whether that be a degree of fluency, or as simple as receiving a higher letter grade in class. I also like to sit down with the student and figure out what troubles them most- vocabulary, pronunciation, conjugations, etc.
