About Kaitlin
I have been studying French for nearly fifteen years and received my B.A. in French from the University of Vermont. This past year I used my skills working as a substitute/assistant teacher in the Milton Public Schools' French immersion program, and I am about to start a graduate fellowship at Boston College to earn my M.A. in French. Having been through the language-learning process myself, I am a very patient and understanding teacher, and it would make me happy to be able to help someone gain confidence in their own French journey! My approach involves explanations of grammar, pronunciation, and connections between French and other languages to help with memorization.

I have a well-rounded knowledge of French and francophone culture, literature, and history, and my skills with the language (speaking, listening, reading, writing) are at the C1 level. I would love to help students who are looking to improve their understanding of the language in whichever skills they want. I can work with students using workbooks, printouts, or whichever materials best suit them. I am flexible with the lesson structure based on their goals.
