About Youma

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Prisca, and French is not just my first language; it's my passion. With five years of experience as a French tutor for kids aged 5-11, I've honed a personalized approach to make learning French both effective and enjoyable. I believe in assessing each child's unique needs and challenges, using their homework as a starting point. I create tailored lesson plans to strengthen their vocabulary, reading, listening, and comprehension skills. My interactive lessons often involve games, songs, and stories, as I believe that learning should be fun. Beyond teaching, I'm an avid reader and enjoy being outdoors, which I occasionally incorporate into our lessons to make language learning more immersive and exciting. My mission is to nurture young minds in their French language journey while fostering a love for the language and culture.

About the lesson

As a French tutor, my approach centers on providing personalized guidance to young learners. I start by assessing each child's current language skills and addressing specific challenges in their homework, which parents often share with me. With this information, I craft tailored lesson plans to improve their vocabulary, reading, listening, and comprehension abilities. My lessons are designed to be interactive, using engaging activities like games, songs, and stories. I also offer support with homework and teach effective study techniques. Regular progress updates and open communication with parents are essential aspects of my approach. I aim to create a positive and enjoyable learning environment, introducing aspects of French language along the way. My ultimate goal is to help each child develop their language skills while making the process both educational and fun.
