About Emery
Teaching exists because language connects people to new realities. A student sits across from me and struggles with the subtle difference between nasal sounds.
My MMus Music Performance from Berklee College of Music informs how I approach the cadence of French speech. I have spent 5 years refining my ability to explain grammar and liaison in plain terms for intermediate and advanced learners. Hobbyists appreciate how I break down complex structures into functional pieces for travel or business contexts.
Listening practice becomes an analytical exercise rather than a guessing game. It is a slow, methodical path toward fluency.
