About Martha
I am at university studying French Studies with Chinese. I am currently on track to receive a first class degree. I earned an A* in my French and Spanish A-levels and would love to share my knowledge. During my year abroad last year, I taught in France. I taught English to pupils up to the age of 12. This experience allowed me to both hone my French language skills, as well as my teaching practice.

I would love to tutor anyone going through A levels or GCSEs, or any student wanting some extra practice or guidance. I would ensure to structure my classes around my student's needs, whether this be a specific piece of homework, or working on a specific skill. I want to place emphasis on application of language skills, as I think that in schools, languages become something that is only used within a classroom, and the use of languages in the real world becomes lost. Studying languages is difficult and it can be very disheartening, so I would like to make sure that when practising with my student, we work on learning to communicate with existing skills, as well as building vocabulary and exam techniques.
