About Veronica
I have led not only online but in-person tutoring sessions as an after-school program for students who wanted an adult present instead of working on their own. I am currently a language assistant in a CEF Saskatchewan school and help students not only practice speaking French but help practice reading, writing, comprehension, and vocabulary expansion.

By first determining the student’s goals, I then find or create games that touch the areas that need to be worked. This approach provides a safe, open and lighter atmosphere compared to traditional language tutoring. Playing while learning also helps increase confidence in one’s self as mistakes can openly be made, and the proper use can be found together. I will sometimes use a workbook to help the depth of understanding of different concepts that can be worked on during the tutoring session or if the student wants to use the workbook as practice on their own in between sessions.
