About Cristina
Bonjour! My name is Cristina and I am a university student based in Toronto. Six years ago, I started offering help in French to family friends, which started my passion for teaching! Although my degree is in International Relations, I have continued tutoring throughout the years. I am a native French speaker, and lived in France and Québec. Although my spoken accent is French, my vocabulary is extensive in "France French" and Québécois.
My experience in online French tutoring encompasses students from 7 to 16 years old from the Québec school system and Ontario and BC programs in Core and Immersion French.
Fun fact: I love learning languages and took Arabic classes in university. I know what it is like to learn a language from scratch, and at a university level!

Flexibility in lessons: I get to know the student and their goals, then create plans to help them reach their goals.
High adaptability: Having taught both in-person and online to children and teenagers, I adapt to the learning styles of the students.
Technology: I use various online resources available for learning and practicing French.
Communication: I maintain positivity and remain available for feedback or concerns. I want students to stay engaged and enjoy learning.
Audience: Experienced with primary, middle and high school classes. However, I would like to expand my audience and offer support to cégep and university students, as well as anyone looking to practice conversational French.
