About Ben

I am a professional and experienced French tutor with a B.A. in French Language from Calvin University. With over 12 years of experience with French and two years of experience as a tutor, I am the right person to come alongside you in your unique and personalized French journey. Whether you're a parent looking to get your kid started, a college student in need of some extra help, or a traveler who wants to learn a bit before your next trip to France!

About the lesson

Our time together will begin with a conversation about your goals and how I can be most helpful. I've worked with brand new French learners in grade school all the way up to 200-level college students.
Once I understand what you need, I will create a custom game plan with personalized exercises based on how you learn best!

I'm different from the typical French tutor given my time spent with the language, connections with French natives from my time in Grenoble, and experience and comfort teaching both grade school kids and college-aged adults.
