About Liberty
As a diligent and dedicated student, I understand firsthand that learning math can be challenging. Over the years, I have focused on my studies and realized that not everything comes easily—but with persistence and the right support, success is always within reach. I believe that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process, and the key to improvement is not making excuses but seeking solutions. My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling difficult concepts. By breaking problems down step by step and adapting my teaching style to each student’s needs, I aim to build both confidence and mastery in math. Let's work together to turn obstacles into opportunities for growth!

My teaching method revolves around making math accessible and engaging.
Breaking down complex problems into simpler, and easy steps.
Using real-world examples to demonstrate how math applies beyond the classroom. Adapting to different learning styles by incorporating visual aids, step-by-step explanations, and interactive discussions. I also emphasize critical thinking and logical reasoning, helping students develop problem-solving skills that extend beyond just solving equations.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each session is tailored to the student’s needs, but a general lesson structure includes:
Review (5-10 min) – What the student knows and just a quick recap of previous material to reinforce retention.
Concept Introduction (15-20 min) – Explanation of the topic with examples.
Guided Practice (20-30 min) – Working through problems together, addressing misconceptions.
Independent Practice (10-15 min) – Student attempts problems while I provide feedback.
Answering any questions and an overall review (5-10 min) – Clarifying doubts and summarizing key takeaways.
I also provide customized worksheets, practice problems, and review guides to support independent learning.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor?
Personalized instruction: I adjust my teaching methods based on the student’s pace, strengths, and challenges.
Building confidence: Many students struggle with math due to anxiety; I foster a supportive environment to build self-assurance.
Focus on deep understanding: Instead of just memorizing formulas, I help students grasp the logic behind them.
Use of technology: I incorporate online tools, graphing calculators, and interactive apps for better visualization.
I work with students who:
Need extra help understanding course material.
Students who want to improve their test scores.
Aim to strengthen their math foundation for STEM-related fields. My goal is to help students not only excel in math but also develop confidence in their problem-solving abilities.
