About Nathen
I am a Piano Performance major at UNR. I have taken many private lessons from different teachers and I know what has worked for me in the past. I am a beginner in my teaching career so it is also very important to me that my students give me feedback on how they feel about my teaching so that I can improve with every lesson.

In my lessons my students will be following the Piano Adventures lesson books starting from the primer level and onward. I will push students to make good progress and follow them at the pace that is best for them. I am anticipating to be working with kids who are just starting in their piano journey and will set them on the right track to be prepared for the kind of work I am doing now as a piano performance major or, just showing them how fun it is to play piano and to set them up to have the fun skill for the rest of their lives, whatever the preference of the student is. I will be sending students home with a notebook each week and each lesson I will write down what they should practice over the week and when we meet for next lesson we can go from wherever the student was able to get to.
Expected time per lesson is 30 minutes for kids so that they don't get bored from too much information, although I can do an hour upon request.
