About Jennifer
I am a friendly and approachable graduate of the University of Cambridge, where I studied Modern and Medieval Languages (French, Italian and Portuguese) and gained a first class degree. I also gained A* grades in History, English Literature and French A Levels. I am passionate about education and helping people to achieve their full potential. I have significant experience supporting young people with university applications. I have been a volunteer tutor in various subjects and languages in the past, receiving excellent feedback from my students - a particular highlight was an English A Level student who said that I helped them to have the confidence to participate in class. I have worked with both neurotypical and neurodiverse students, and I have undertaken GDPR and safeguarding training.

My lessons are based around discussion and participation - I always like to be in conversation with my students and hear their opinions. Students' viewpoints are valued and challenged, allowing students to gain confidence in their abilities. I am able to think on my feet and quickly adapt my lessons for my students' abilities. I regularly ask for feedback from students so that I can ensure we are on the right track for what they want, and make any changes which would make their learning experience more fruitful.
