In my tutoring sessions, I use a hands-on approach, suitable for students from KS1 to GCSE in Maths. Each lesson includes various problems. First, I show how to solve these problems step by step. Then, I give students a chance to try them on their own, helping them understand better and practise what they've learnt. For KS1, we focus on basic maths like addition, subtraction, shapes, and simple measuring. I use fun activities to make it interesting. For KS2 students, we get into more topics like fractions, decimals, and starting algebra, using everyday examples. In KS3, we cover harder algebra, geometry, and some basic statistics, working on thinking and problem-solving skills. For GCSE students, it gets more challenging with advanced algebra, trigonometry, and even some calculus. We do a mix of practice questions, past exam papers, and exam tips to get them ready for their tests. I make sure each lesson is supportive and fun, going at the student's pace, and giving feedback to help them get better."
