About Deeksha
I am a dedicated and patient math tutor who is passionate about helping young students build strong foundations and confidence in mathematics. I understand that every child learns differently, and I take the time to adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s pace and learning needs.
I approach tutoring with professionalism, reliability, and genuine care for my students’ progress. My lessons are well-structured, engaging, and focused on clear understanding rather than rote learning. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
With a strong academic background and a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving, I bring clarity and consistency to my lessons. I am organized, punctual, and committed to maintaining clear communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and learning goals.
My goal is not only to help students improve their math skills, but also to help them develop confidence, logical thinking, and a positive attitude towards learning.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, patient, and concept-focused. I believe that children learn maths best when they truly understand why something works, not just by memorising steps.
I start each lesson by understanding the student’s current level, strengths, and areas where they feel confused or lack confidence. From there, I break down concepts into simple, age-appropriate explanations, using examples from everyday life so maths feels relatable and less intimidating.
I focus strongly on:
1). Building strong foundations
2). Encouraging questions and curiosity
3). Improving confidence and problem-solving skills
4). Making lessons interactive rather than rushed or stressful
I regularly check understanding during the lesson and adjust my teaching pace to suit each child.
