About Suzie
My name is Suzie. I’m currently a third-year dental student at the University of Queensland.
I have several years of tutoring experience teaching both primary and senior students, mainly in math and science. Through this experience, I’ve developed strong communication skills and learned how to break down complex concepts into simple steps for students to understand.
I’m a very patient and supportive tutor, and I really enjoy helping students build confidence in their learning. My MBTI type is ENFJ, so I’m naturally very enthusiastic about communication and enjoy structuring knowledge in a clear and logical way when I teach.
Overall, I’m really passionate about helping students understand concepts and achieve their academic goals.

I enjoy tutoring because I find it very rewarding to help students understand concepts that they previously found difficult.
From my experience tutoring both primary and senior students, I’ve realised that many students don’t struggle because they aren’t capable, but because they haven’t been taught in a way that works for them. I enjoy identifying where the gap is in their understanding and then explaining concepts in a structured and simple way.
Tutoring is a great fit for me because I’m patient, communicative, and very passionate about helping students grow. I also enjoy building positive relationships with students so they feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their learning.
