About Ruth
I am an MSc Psychology graduate and Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS) with a passion for helping students grow in confidence and understanding.
Alongside my academic background, I have experience within healthcare research and public involvement roles, which has strengthened my interest in emotional wellbeing, communication, and supportive learning environments.
I understand that psychology can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to essay writing, evaluation, and research methods. My aim is to provide calm, friendly, and encouraging support tailored to each student’s individual needs.
I particularly enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities and develop a deeper understanding of psychology in a way that feels approachable and engaging.

I offer supportive and approachable psychology tutoring for A-level and undergraduate and postgraduate students. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and focus on building both understanding and confidence.
I hold an MSc in Psychology and have particular interests in health psychology, research methods, qualitative research, and academic writing. I understand that many students can feel overwhelmed by essay structure, evaluation, research methods, and psychological theories, so I aim to explain concepts clearly in a calm and encouraging way.
