About Tristan
I am a relaxed and easy-going person who has devoted their life to music out of sheer love for all aspects of it. I have worked as a professional musician in various forms/to various degrees since the age of 16 and understand how to carry one's self in the musical world. I am fully DBS Checked and am a user of the repeat service.

I think friendly encouragement is always the way forward. Developing a positive relationship with students and a relaxed/safe environment to ensure everyone does their best while studying. While hard work is important when learning the musical trade, it is positivity that has always made me love music and love inspires dedication. I have extensive experience teaching primary school age children but I am able to teach any age or level up to professional gigging standard. I teach 30 minute and whole hour lessons. 30 minutes is more affordable and is not overwhelming on the brain. Whole hour lessons allow for time to properly delve into problems and topics to be investigated. I have three years' experience teaching in primary schools and have had occasional private students since the age of 17. I have worked as a gigging musician from the age of 16 in everything from string quartets to function bands or producing records. I have a wide range of experience in the music industry and have studied to master's degree level.
