About Rebecca

Hi, I’m Rebecca! Music has been part of my life since I began playing violin at the age of five, and my experience as an early childhood educator has given me an even deeper appreciation for the role music plays in children’s lives.

Working with young children, I’ve seen how music can transform everyday experiences. Songs can make transitions between activities smoother, encourage participation, lift children’s moods, and create moments of connection when words alone aren’t enough. Music can turn a routine into something exciting and help children feel more comfortable, engaged, and ready to learn.

I bring that same understanding of children’s development into my approach to beginner violin lessons. I believe children learn best when they feel supported, encouraged, and free to explore something new without being afraid of making mistakes.

My goal is to help young beginners develop their musical foundations, build confidence, and discover the joy of making music. With patience, structure, and a little creativity, I want every child to feel proud of their progress and excited to keep learning.

Hi, I’m Rebecca! I’ve been playing violin since I was five years old and it has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember.

In our lessons, we’ll work on:

* Proper posture and violin positioning
* Bow hold and basic bow technique
* Reading music and understanding rhythm
* Scales, warm-ups, and beginner-friendly songs
* Building confidence and healthy practice habits
