About Lucy
Hi! I'm a friendly and approachable tutor currently studying for an MSc in Global Biodiversity and Conservation. I previously completed a BSc in Biology, achieving a 2:1.
I achieved A* in A-Level Maths, A* in A-Level Chemistry and A in A-Level Biology, giving me a strong academic foundation across all three subjects.
I have also had experience briefly tutoring Maths. I really enjoy helping students understand subjects that initially seem difficult and seeing their confidence improve as they start to understand the material.
My approach is patient and supportive, and I adapt my lessons to suit each student's level and learning style. Whether you need help catching up, preparing for exams, or simply want to strengthen your understanding, I'm happy to work with you at your own pace.

Online lessons only. I have previously tutored Maths to a Year 7 pupil and supported students in Maths classes. My lessons typically involve working through a topic together, explaining difficult concepts clearly, and then practising with questions to reinforce understanding.
I can tutor Maths and Chemistry up to GCSE level, and Biology up to A-Level. Lessons can be adapted to the student's needs, whether you are looking to understand a particular topic, practise exam questions, prepare for exams, or build confidence.
I am flexible with lesson length and happy to tailor sessions to suit each student's preferences and requirements.
