About Whitney
As someone that used to struggle with math.I always had a hard time communicating with teachers because they are strict when it comes to completing work and understanding the lessons. I am all about positive reinforcement reinforcement while also being kind and patient with students when teaching them something. Students tend to overwhelm easily when it comes to subjects they struggle to learn about. Keeping a calm attitude and mindset will help the learning.

For my tutoring sessions I focus on the areas that students need help with while helping them to complete their homework. Math is a hard subject for many students but with a little guidance and patience they can learn anything. Helping students slowly through each problem helps them understand the work better and gives them the opportunity to ask questions and also to review questions that they struggle with.
