About Pontus
I am from Sweden where I studied physics and engineering at Lund University. Since August last year I'm living in Canada, currently working as a math tutor in Toronto. I have experience tutoring/teaching both math and physics, working with students from elementary school to university.

I believe in a personal approach with the students. I want to get to know the student so I can adapt my teaching methods to the individual student. In a typical class I will work with the student and his/her material from school, helping the student further understand the material and feel confident for his/her classes. My favourite moment is when I can help the student understand something in their homework and then go even deeper, beyond their current curriculum to show them how much they actually know. I believe this builds the confidence of the student and hopefully sparks a feeling that it is fun to learn.
