About Jane
I have over 3 years of tutoring experience with students from the ages of 10 upwards all of whom had varying ability levels. I have taught GCSE and A Level English Literature, English Language and History and have also taught History at degree level.

I am passionate about both History and English and try to inspire my students as well as teach them the relevant knowledge. I firmly believe that tutoring should build confidence- I always aim to ensure students are encouraged and supported in their learning. I work with students to build lesson plans which prioritise exam technique and exam practice. I aim to tailor each lesson plan to meet the individual needs of the student. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring and always try to make it fun and interesting!
