About Katherine
I am an Undergraduate Student at Cornell University (USA) studying Mechanical Engineering with a passion for teaching! I took a gap year after my A levels during which I gained valuable teaching experience working at Westminster Under School in London. I have also done plenty of private one-on-one tutoring in maths.
I love maths and I really enjoy finding that lightbulb moment with students where everything clicks into place. I have experience working with struggling students as well as high-achieving ones, so I will be sure to make sessions challenging enough for each student so they can improve every time we meet.
At Uni, I am also in a comedy group and love theatre: I will try to make sessions as fun as possible! I know maths isn't everybody's favourite but I will try my hardest to make it an enjoyable (as well as educational) experience. I took my A Levels in 2016 so I remember what it was like and am willing and ready to help.
