About Max
My name is Max. I am very passionate about mathematics: either teaching it, or just learning about it for the sheer joy it brings ;-)
I have read Engineering at university (BEng, Hons), and maths has always been my strongest subject (Engineering Maths and Advanced Engineering Maths). I have taught for several years, on and off, as I have been pursuing other interests, like travelling.
My style can vary from informal to strict, depending on your preparation and motivation. Once you have understood and become in a position to do the homework, I would expect you to try it and give it a very good go.
I have taught mathematics to many students in the past. More than half of them had been struggling before I had started teaching them. This is not surprising, as maths is almost universally acknowledged to be a challenging subject.
