Hi! I’m Ma Lorien, a friendly and patient Filipino and English tutor who enjoys helping students learn in a comfortable and enjoyable way. My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and personalized. I adjust my lessons according to each student’s level, goals, interests, and learning pace.
My teaching methods include conversations, vocabulary activities, pronunciation practice, grammar exercises, reading, and real-life situations. I encourage students to speak and participate actively rather than simply memorize words. I also provide corrections and helpful feedback in a positive way so students can improve without feeling nervous or embarrassed.
A typical lesson begins with a short conversation or review of the previous lesson. We then introduce new vocabulary or grammar, practice it together through examples and activities, and finish with a conversation or practical exercise where the student can apply what they learned.
What sets me apart is my patience, friendly personality, and willingness to make lessons simple and easy to understand. I create a welcoming environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence while learning.
