About Nikhil
Hi! I’m Nikhil. I’m an experienced tutor having taught Maths lessons for 2 years now. I’m currently in the final year of my Bachelor’s degree, studying Psychology at the University of Bristol. I teach GCSE level and below, having achieved a grade 9 myself and continued studying the subject into A-level. Having a Maths tutor myself when preparing for exams, I understand the impact of investing in the right tutor for your child. I am warm and friendly, bringing out the best by taking a tailored approach to each student I work with. Using clear, concise and individualised explanations my students are able to grasp initially difficult to understand concepts. I am particularly interested in how an understanding of psychology can be applied to effective learning and education, having worked with students with students of various levels and needs. I also recognise the importance of positive role models with my aim at MyTutor to improve student grades via strengthening understanding as well as to instill a love of learning. With my help I can take your child from underperforming to their highest grades ever, boosting their confidence both inside and outside the subject and giving them the best chance when applying for university and their future careers. Outside of tutoring I’ve also enjoyed running social and educational events as President of the University Psychology Society and competing in tennis tournaments, having also recently taken up weightlifting.
