About Jack
I am a strong academic with a solid background in Economics, Business, and Maths, and I take pride in helping students achieve their full potential. Having successfully completed my A-Levels and now studying Financial Economics and Banking at university, I bring both up-to-date subject knowledge and real academic experience to my lessons.
I am a patient, understanding, and approachable tutor who creates a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I understand the challenges students face because I have recently been through the same system myself, which allows me to relate well to younger learners and explain topics in a way that makes sense to them.
At the same time, I maintain a professional and structured approach to ensure lessons are productive and focused. I am reliable, well-prepared, and committed to helping each student improve, whether they need support catching up or want to push towards top grades.

I use a structured and supportive teaching approach, focusing on making complex topics simple and easy to understand. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they require help with core concepts, exam preparation, or improving confidence. I break down topics step-by-step, use real examples, and regularly check understanding through practice questions.
My teaching method combines explanation, guided practice, and independent problem-solving to ensure students fully grasp the material. I also focus on exam techniques, helping students learn how to approach questions effectively and maximise their marks.
Each lesson typically lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour, allowing enough time to cover content in depth while keeping sessions focused and engaging.
I have previously tutored GCSE and A-Level students, helping them strengthen their understanding and improve their performance. I achieved strong grades in my A-Levels (Economics, Business, Geography, and Financial Studies) and I am currently studying Financial Economics and Banking at university, where I use advanced maths, calculus, and statistical analysis.
My lessons are aimed at students studying GCSEs and first-year A-Level, particularly those who need extra support or want to improve their grades in subjects like Economics, Business, and Maths.
