About ELLEN

Hi! I’m Ellen, and I’m excited to help you learn English!

I’m a friendly, patient, and approachable first-time ESL tutor. I’m interested in teaching because I enjoy communicating with people and helping them learn something new.

I may be new to online ESL teaching, but I have several years of experience in customer service and professional work, where I learned how to communicate clearly, listen carefully, and work with different kinds of people.

In my lessons, we will learn English through simple conversations, questions, examples, and fun activities. Don’t worry about making mistakes—mistakes are a normal part of learning!

My goal is to help you feel comfortable, enjoy the lesson, and become more confident in using English.

About the lesson

I am a first-time ESL tutor, and I am interested in teaching English because I enjoy helping others learn and improve. I am currently looking for an opportunity to start my teaching journey and gain experience as an ESL tutor.

My goal is to make every lesson simple, fun, and comfortable for my students. I use a friendly and patient approach and encourage students to participate, ask questions, and practice speaking.

My teaching steps are:

Warm-up – I greet the student and ask simple questions to make them comfortable.
Introduce the Topic – I explain the lesson using simple words, pictures, and examples.
Practice Together – We practice vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple sentences.
Student Practice – I let the student answer and speak on their own while I guide them.
Review – We review what we learned and correct mistakes in a positive way.
Encouragement – I give positive feedback and encourage the student to keep practicing.

What sets me apart is my patience, willingness to learn, and genuine interest in teaching. I understand that every student learns differently, so I am willing to adjust my approach to their needs.

My lessons are mainly for young learners and beginner English students who want to improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, and everyday English communication.
