About Tom
Hi! I’m Tom, a friendly and approachable French and Spanish tutor offering lessons for GCSE and A-Level students.
I’ve recently been through the GCSE and A-Level system myself, so I understand what it’s like to prepare for exams, learn large amounts of vocabulary and grammar, and work towards those all-important grades. I know that languages can sometimes feel difficult or overwhelming, but I believe lessons should be relaxed, enjoyable and focused on building your confidence.
Whether you’re looking to improve your speaking, grammar, writing, vocabulary or exam technique, I’ll tailor lessons around what you need and make sure we focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference.
I’m happy to work with students who are struggling with a particular topic, as well as those who are already doing well and want to push themselves further.
My aim is simple: to make French and Spanish feel more manageable, improve your confidence and help you get the results you’re working towards.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and tailored to what you actually need help with.
I offer French and Spanish lessons for GCSE and A-Level students, whether you want to improve your grades, build confidence speaking, strengthen your grammar or prepare for exams.
As someone who has recently been through GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I understand the parts students often find difficult. We can focus on whatever will help you most, from speaking practice and vocabulary to grammar, writing, listening and exam technique.
I’ll adapt each lesson to your level and goals, with plenty of opportunities to practise rather than just sitting and listening. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic or simply want to push your grade higher, we’ll work through it together in a relaxed environment.
No pressure, no judgement — just practical lessons designed to help you feel more confident and prepared.
