About Maria
I have a lot of previous experience working as a tutor and am looking to expand my contact hours and inspire as many kids as I can to take an interest in STEM. I come from a highly disadvantaged background and live in an area where there is a very low progression to higher education and this is something I aim to change by teaching, as I believe that with the right academic support all children are capable of being top students.

I will deliver hour-long lessons to your child online. I take Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science A-level where I am currently predicted A* A* A A respectively. My GCSE grades were also all As (grade 7) and A*s (grades 8/9) and I would love to share what resources and revision techniques helped me to achieve these grades. I also attended a grammar school and would love to assist your child with their revision for the 11+ exam. We all learn in different ways, however, and I am willing to adapt my usual teaching style to fit your child's learning abilities, as their success is my main priority. I am most experienced with teaching primary school children (including preparation for the 11+ exam) and secondary students from years 7 to 11 for their GCSEs.
