About Grace
Hi, I'm Grace! I'm currently pursuing a B.S. in Information Technology at the University of Central Florida, with coursework in Matrix & Linear Algebra, Calculus, and Statistical Methods, giving me a strong, current foundation in the math I teach.
Beyond academics, I have hands-on experience working with children as a Sunday school teacher and as a nursery help for children under 3 at my church's nursery, so I'm comfortable, patient, and reliable working with young learners.
I take teaching seriously and am committed to creating a safe, encouraging, and professional learning environment for every student I work with.

Hi, I'm Grace!
My teaching method starts with hands-on objects, pictures, and diagrams. Once a student truly understands the concept, we move on to numbers and symbols so math makes sense instead of feeling like memorized rules.
A typical lesson follows this structure: I first work through an example with the student, then we solve one together, and finally they try on their own once they're ready, with support fading as their confidence grows.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that when a student makes a mistake, I don't just correct it — I have them walk me through their own thinking so they learn to catch their own errors.
My lessons are for elementary and middle school students who need a solid foundation in math, want to build confidence, or need extra support to close gaps from previous years!
