About Raluca
Hi, I’m Diana and I’m in the second year of the long strenuous journey to become a doctor at Nottingham medical school.
My passion for medicine stems from wanting to make a difference in people’s lives using my scientific interests in a hands-on way.
Do you sit at the back of your science or maths lessons feeling confused ? Or just need a bit of a confidence boost ? I’m here to help
Or are you in the process of applying to medical school and would like some interview prep, or specific advice on which unis to apply to? I am aware its a gruelling process and understand how valuable the advice from someone who has gone through it can be.
I will take the time to explain every topic in detail and in a way that is suited to you. I believe there is no point in memorising information before actually understanding it but at the same time good revision strategies are the secret to good grades. Hard work pays off more than intelligence !

I find it crucial to develop rapport with my students. I find this helps keep my students far more engaged. To make my lessons interactive, I use hand drawn diagrams, images and plenty of practice questions to test your understanding.
I encourage my students to find questions they struggle with and let me know what has worked or not worked in the past. I firmly believe tutoring succeeds when there is an equal input from both sides.
