About Emma

Bonjour ! I’m Emma, 20, from Lyon, and I’m spending this year in Liverpool as an exchange student at Liverpool John Moores University where I study Business Management. French is my native language and my goal is simple: to get you speaking, not just studying. Whether you’re a complete beginner, brushing up for an exam, or planning a trip to France, I’ll shape each lesson around what you actually want to achieve. Because I’m learning in a new language and a new city myself, I know exactly how it feels to be out of your comfort zone. That’s why my lessons are patient, relaxed and encouraging, and always at your pace. No pressure, just progress (and a few laughs along the way!). When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me exploring Liverpool and meeting new people. Message me to book a first lesson and tell me your goals. I can’t wait to help you speak French with confidence!

About the lesson

Lessons built around you, not a textbook. Every student is different so we’ll start with a quick chat about your level, your goals and what you find tricky. From there, I’ll create a plan that fits you.
We can work on conversation, pronunciation and listening, grammar and vocabulary, exam and coursework support, and travel and daily life.
How my lessons work: Lessons are interactive and practical with dialogues, role-plays and real-life situations. I adapt the pace and difficulty to your level (beginner to advanced). You get simple notes and exercises after each lesson, if you’d like them. We review your progress regularly so you can see yourself improving.
Format: one-to-one, online.
Ready to start? Send me a message with your level and your goals, and let’s book a first lesson!
